I really hope hori is not using thirst to make up for his clumsy handling of toga and ochako. We know they’re not endgame. And I never liked how toga said nothing impactful to ochako because all she did was cry. After everything ochako had seen? And the old lady toga may have killed? I couldn’t believe in it.
lol since the beginning ochako-toga has been a one-sided thing. there’s no real parallel between them, all it was was toga’s disgusting obsession toward ochako and deku and, mention deku, the love rival. ok, i get that toga is the “i don’t know what i did wrong” villain trope and bc of that we need a hero, one generous and kind enough, who will make the villain realize their wrongdoing and regret it. trust me, it’s a pretty common trope in shounen. and we’re supposed to slowly feel sympathy for such character, which’s also where Hori failed in writing toga. now i wonder how he’s gonna tackle the whole thing in one battle that might drag out three or four chapters.

i feel like horikoshi even tried to save ochako’s character by making her “bury” her crush (cause that was the main thing ppl were complaining about) and the fandom still hates her 💀💀 like yall childish and weird i don’t think he woulda did a good job with her character but i’m def blaming the fandom on why her scenes were especially sparse lol
